Our expert volunteer guides share captivating tales of the history of the venue, the sporting greats who have competed here and the Oval’s iconic status in SA. Each volunteer’s passion for the Oval is infectious while their own unique stories and seasonal changes to the tour paths ensure there is always a new experience to be savoured.
Imagine running onto the iconic Adelaide Oval to the roar of a 50,000-strong crowd, climbing the stairs to the 100-year-old heritage-listed scoreboard or gaining an insight into match-day preparations inside the players’ change-rooms. All of these experiences are included in an Adelaide Oval tour.
Visit a number of areas that are usually inaccessible and learn about the heritage and significance of Adelaide Oval while being entertained with stories of legends and characters who have contributed to the Oval’s rich history.
A tour includes admission to the famed Bradman Museum which tells the story of Australia’s greatest ever cricketer and provides an insight into life in Australia from the 1920s to the 1970s.
Monday to Friday: 10am, 11am and 2pm
Saturday and Sunday: 10am, 11am, 1pm and 2pm
Tours will not operate on event days or some public holidays (Christmas Day, Good Friday, ANZAC Day). Tours will operate in a modified capacity during Sheffield Shield (excluding finals).

Adelaide Oval Football Members and SACA (South Australian Cricket Association) Members are admitted to standard public tours free of charge on presentation of your membership card. Bookings are required.

Group and Corporate Tours
Private tours for 10 or more people are available by appointment outside of the standard public tour times.
Group and Corporate tours are a fantastic way to experience the Oval with friends, family or colleagues! Private tours can be arranged for groups ranging from 10 to 150+ and can be tailored to suit specific interests or requirements.

Where to meet
On arrival to the stadium, check in for your tour with our Stadium Concierge, situated at the South Gate entrance of the Riverbank Stand. The stadium entrance door is located next to the Oval's Cafe, off War Memorial Drive.
Please note: guided tours cover a reasonable distance on foot and may include the use of stairs, escalators and elevators. Comfortable, closed-in footwear is required. All bookings are subject to availability. Areas included on the stadium tour may vary without notice and are subject to availability.
