Adelaide Oval Stadium Management Authority
Adelaide Oval is proudly managed by the Adelaide Oval Stadium Management Authority (AOSMA).
AOSMA is a joint venture company of the two entities responsible for growing and developing the codes of cricket and football in South Australia – the South Australian Cricket Association (SACA) and the South Australian National Football League (SANFL).
Adelaide Oval itself is owned by the people of South Australia. AOSMA operates the venue on an 80-year lease from the Government of South Australia and is responsible for running, maintaining, and developing Adelaide Oval. Furthermore, there are obligations to pay annual rent and sinking fund contributions.
AOSMA has invested, or secured investment by third parties, for new capital works at the Adelaide Oval including the development of Australia’s first stadium hotel, Oval Hotel. These contributions to infrastructure have continually improved Adelaide Oval for both patrons and venue hirers.
Since its redevelopment in 2014, the Adelaide Oval has been an outstanding success, re-establishing Adelaide’s place on the national and global sporting and event stage. The Adelaide Oval Stadium Management Authority is constantly innovating to ensure it remains at the forefront of global stadia, and to secure the long-term future of South Australia’s iconic asset.
