What you need to know
As an Adelaide Oval Education Volunteer, you will be willing to develop your own knowledge of Adelaide Oval and work in collaborative environment with our education team.
Exceptional communication skills are a necessity. You will need to be able to capture the minds and attention of children and young adults, and have an understanding of teachers’ learning objectives.
Having the opportunity to work with our youngest, and sometimes most enthusiastic visitors, provides you with the chance to develop your skills, gain knowledge and have fun too!
Those who take part in our volunteer program will be required to obtain a DSCI ‘Working with Children’ clearance and undergo suitable ‘Responding to Abuse and Neglect’ (or equivalent) training.
If you’re keen to educate the next generation and you’re enthusiastic about what Adelaide Oval has to offer; we’d love to hear from you!
