Public Transport

Adelaide Oval Express Bus, Train and Tram services will be in operation. Free for AFL game ticket holders until the last service. More info at adelaidemetro.com.au

Please note the Seaford and Flinders rail lines will be temporarily closed over the Easter long weekend for scheduled track maintenance and station upgrades. The Belair rail line will also be partially closed to allow for maintenance works.

For the Adelaide v GWS match substitute buses will replace trains services will not operate between:

  •  Adelaide Railway Station and Seaford Railway Station,
  • Adelaide Railway Station and Flinders Railway Station,
  • Adelaide Railway Station and Mitcham Railway Station.

Additional bus services will be operating to and from the city for this match. Further information can be found on the Adelaide Metro website.

Parking

Public parking is available for $35 and is subject to capacity and weather.

In Use:

East (Enter via King William Road):

  • Open from 7:00am for hotel/event permits only

North (Enter via Pennington Tce):

  • Open from 7:00am for event permits/contractors only
  • Open from 12:45pm for limited accessibility parking

Oval #2 (Enter via Montefiore Rd):

  • Open from 12:45pm for public parking

University Lane (Enter via King William Rd):

  • Open from 12:45pm for limited public parking

Torrens Parade Ground (Enter via Victoria Dr):

  • Open from 12:45pm for public and accessibility parking

Road Closures

War Memorial Drive: 11:45am – 8:00pm

King William Road: 6:05pm – 8:00pm (full closure for AO Express)

Pennington Terrace: 6:05pm – 8:00pm

North Terrace: 6:20pm – 8:00pm Victoria Street to King William Road

Accessibility

Disability drop-off and pick up zones

For disability permit holders only, which can be applied for via Services SA. On event days zones can be located:

  • War Memorial Drive, out the front of Next Gen Health Clubs and Tennis SA, adjacent to Pinky Flat. This drop off zone must be accessed from the western side via Montefiore Road or Morphett Street Bridge.
  • King William Road, adjacent to the East Gate for north-bound traffic. For post-game access, enter via Sir Edwin Smith Avenue from the Kermode Street/Brougham Place intersections with your disability parking permit ready to gain entry through the roadblock.
