COVIDSafe Measures

Adelaide Oval has collaborated with SA Health and SAPOL to put in place measures to ensure events are as safe as possible.

To a certain degree, these measures will only work if everyone plays their part in keeping Adelaide Oval COVIDSafe.

How you can play your part

Frequently Asked Questions

People who are double vaccinated will be required to display their COVID 19 Digital Certificate via their smartphone prior to entry. Follow this video or step-by-step guide for setting up your digital certificate.

Where unknown or a Digital certificate is not possible, a printed immunisation history statement and valid ID will be accepted.

Where this is not possible, a printed immunisation history statement will be accepted.

In the case of a valid medical exemption, a certificate of exemption AND a recent negative test result no older than 72 hours will need to be provided.

It’s a much more controlled environment in terms of tracing guests so we’re confident the risks are very manageable in that setting. Guests will not be required to demonstrate proof of double vaccination to stay; however, they will not be able to enter any other part of the stadium without it.

Anyone with an official medical exemption will need to show a certificate of exemption and a recent negative test result (no older than 72 hours). This means you will need to ask your GP to apply to the Australian Immunisation Register and then SA Health, and show proof of this approval.

At entry gates, a lane for those declaring exemption will be set aside, to allow that screening to occur without impacting main lanes.

Adelaide Oval staff will be conducting a random screening process at all points of entry. In addition to this, our staff will be carrying out random checks throughout the stadium.

SA Health or SAPOL staff may also request proof of vaccination. Any person who cannot produce the required evidence will be required to leave the stadium and may face a 3-year ban.
