Mark Mickan Parkinson’s SA FundRaiser

Mark Mickan was first diagnosed with Parkinson’s three years ago. Since diagnosed, Mark’s condition deteriorated causing his decision to have Deep Brain Stimulation surgery to relieve the tremors that are the most obvious, and often most debilitating symptom of the disease. So far the surgery has shown outstanding results which are expected to continue to improve over time.

Parkinson’s South Australia is a not-for-profit organisation that has provided support and information to people living with Parkinson’s and other movement disorders, their carers, family, community and health professionals for over 30 years. Currently there is no known cause of Parkinson’s or understanding of why some people develop Parkinson’s and not others.

Please join MC Mark Soderstrom, together with guest speakers Malcolm Blight, Neil Kerley, Mark Williams and Girish Nair for what will be a fantastic night to raise funds and awareness for Parkinson’s South Australia.

All funds raised will support Parkinson’s SA in its challenge to support Mark Mickan and many other sufferers of Parkinson’s disease.

Your support will be greatly appreciated by Parkinson’s SA and those who suffer from this debilitating disease.
