Socceroos v China PR

The Socceroos will face China PR under lights at Adelaide Oval on Thursday, 10 October 2024 (kick-off TBC) as part of their Round Three AFC Asian Qualifiers™ – Road To 26 Qualification campaign.

The match marks the first time the Socceroos have played in Adelaide since 2017, as they continue their journey towards the FIFA World Cup 2026™ and the prospect of a sixth consecutive appearance at international football’s showpiece event in Canada, Mexico and the United States.

Tickets
Tickets for this match are now exhausted. Additional tickets will be made available towards the end of September, on a first come, first serve basis – with on-sale details to be conveyed via Socceroos digital and social media channels.

Public parking is available for $23 and is subject to capacity and weather.

East: Open from 7:00am for hotel/ event permits only
North: Open from 4:30pm for limited public and accessibility parking
University Lane: Open from 4:30pm for public parking
Torrens Pde Gr: Open from 4:30pm for public parking

Road Closures

War Memorial Drive: 3:00pm – 11:15pm
King William Road: 9:00pm – 11:15pm (full closure for AO Express)
Pennington Terrace: 9:00pm – 11:15pm
North Terrace: 9:20pm – 11:15pm Victoria Street to King William Road

Accessibility

Permits for this can be obtained by contacting Services SA.

For disability permit holders only, which can be applied for via Services SA. On event days zones can be located:

  • War Memorial Drive, out the front of Next Gen Health Clubs and Tennis SA, adjacent to Pinky Flat. This drop off zone must be accessed from the western side via Montefiore Road or Morphett Street Bridge.
  • King William Road, adjacent to the East Gate for north-bound traffic. For post-game access, enter via Sir Edwin Smith Avenue from the Kermode Street/Brougham Place intersections with your disability parking permit ready to gain entry through the roadblock.

Sensory Spaces

We have two sensory spaces available for this event. You can find them located next to the East Gate entrance and inside The Drive (tennis centre back door). Follow the Hidden Disabilities Sunflowers on the stadium floor to lead you to the sensory spaces or look out for the Sunflower team who can escort you to the space. Click here for sensory space map. With amazing support from Novita who are trained Ots, speech paths and psychologists, this space has been consciously throughout to provide those who enter with a calm and soothing environment including sensory activities and quiet zones.
