OzHarvest and Adelaide Oval have joined forces to present a unique three-course dining experience aligned with OzHarvest’s gourmet, zero-food-waste philosophy. The entirety of the ticket proceeds will contribute to OzHarvest’s mission of providing meals to South Australians facing food insecurity.
Chefs Philip Pope and Genevieve Harris will collaborate to craft a delightful three-course menu primarily utilizing rescued ingredients from OzHarvest. Philip Pope, the Executive Chef at Adelaide Oval and the recipient of the 2023 AHA SA Chef of the Year award, hails from South Australia and is committed to giving back to the local community. Working alongside Genevieve Harris, an accomplished chef with experience in Adelaide, Sydney, and Southeast Asia, they aim to create a purpose-driven dining experience.
As attendees savor their gourmet meal, they will have the opportunity to hear from Ronni Kahn, the CEO and Founder of OzHarvest, who will share her inspiring journey as a passionate advocate and activist in reshaping Australia’s approach to food waste.
To add to the experience, a Live Cooking Demo will be conducted by Genevieve and Phil. Through this demonstration, guests can gain insights, tips, and tricks on cooking with zero waste, revolutionizing their approach to home cooking. The event will also shed light on OzHarvest’s efforts to make a positive impact on both people and the planet, aligning with the goal of reducing Australia’s food waste by 50% by 2030.
