There are a number of ways to enjoy Adelaide Oval on non-event days but it’s worth noting public access to the stadium is limited to particular parts of the venue.

Koffee Ink and Bespoke Wine Bar & Kitchen both provide a great place to enjoy coffee and refreshments but always best to check the opening hours before you come because they do change when events are being held. The Bradman Collection is free to view and open Monday to Saturday from 9am-4pm. Alternatively, book in for a Stadium Tour for the chance to visit areas that are usually off-limits and learn about the heritage of Adelaide Oval or take on RoofClimb Adelaide Oval for an experience like no other.

As of Friday 15 April 2022, visitors to Adelaide Oval will no longer be required to show proof of double COVID 19 vaccination. This change has been made on the basis of South Australia’s high vaccination rate, continued easing of restrictions and the return to 100% capacity. It will still be a requirement that all Adelaide Oval staff are double vaccinated. Make sure you keep up to date with, and abide by, all Adelaide Oval Conditions of Entry.

Yes, Suite 55 in level 4 of the Eastern stand will be setup as a temporary sensory safe space for this event. Capacity is limited to 20 so we ask patrons to please only use the space for short periods if required. Please approach staff if you need assistance navigating to the space.

Family-friendly food and beverage options will be available at retail outlets throughout the stadium. Including Fairy floss, popcorn, ice cream, chocolate, fruit boxes, fresh fruit salad and sandwiches.

The National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant team are encouraging people to not to bring prams due to the limited space available and COVIDSafe measures that are in place. However, they understand this is not going to be possible for some, so will have a monitored pram parking area located outside the South and East gates that will operate like a cloaking system. Please note that prams are not allowed inside Adelaide Oval and the National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant will not be taking responsibility for any missing valuable or personal items.

No, vertical consumption is now allowed at Adelaide Oval, including indoor spaces.

Take note of the allocated entry gate on your ticket. Have your phone with your ticket ready to go when entering the stadium. Patrons with special access requirements seated in Eastern Stand Level Five will need to use the lift located near the Victor Richardson gates (between the Riverbank and Eastern stands).

Gates open from 5:00pm. Please arrive at your earliest convenience to swiftly move through the entry process in a COVIDSafe manner.

Yes, members are now able to use their member cards or mobile membership to enter the Oval again. Please contact your respective membership representatives with any queries regarding member tickets.

In line with face mask requirements for all visitors to Adelaide Oval, face masks are no longer a requirement for staff. However, any staff choosing to continue to wear a mask are welcome to.

If you can, use the stairs or escalators. Lift usage will be restricted to people with mobility needs.

Try to avoid touching stair rails, door handles and other touch points. Sanitise your hands regularly and always do so before eating.

At the end of the game, please remember to keep your distance from other people. Only use the Riverbank Footbridge if you are travelling by train. Please use other routes if heading into the city.

You are no longer required to check in via a QR code when entering the stadium or any space within Adelaide Oval.

Check the website event page for event-specific gate times. Ticket purchasers will also see their recommended entry gate on their ticket, as well as receive an email from Ticketek in the days leading up to the event, including any updates. Please arrive at your earliest convenience to swiftly move through the entry process in a COVIDSafe manner.

Depending on the details of your situation, you may be eligible for a refund. We recommend reviewing the Ticketek Refund FAQs and Conditions prior to making a claim. Alternatively, you can transfer your ticket to a friend via the “share” button at the bottom of your mobile ticket – this is a single transfer sharing opportunity. Yes, we endeavour to have to have as many food and beverage outlets open as possible. Every effort has been made to ensure ample staff are rostered for game day, however, we continue to face challenges with the staffing of shifts as a result of COVID-19 cases prohibiting people from working. We may at times need to close a kiosk or work our way through a longer queue, but, as always, our staff will be working hard to serve you as quickly as possible. Please note, Adelaide Oval food and beverage outlets only accept payment by card. For those patrons who may attend with cash only, card exchange booths are located around the stadium.

Yes, you may stand in the immediate vicinity of your allocated seat to dance. This is in accordance with our approved SA Health COVID Management Plan. As always, we ask you to be mindful of patrons around you.

Yes, hand sanitiser stations are at all entrances and throughout the stadium. Patrons are encouraged to wash their hands before and after using the bathroom and to sanitise frequently. To avoid queues and congestion, we recommend patrons bring their own as well.

Limit the number and size of bags you bring and have any bags ready for inspection as you approach your entry gate. This will make security checks faster and safer. Bags small enough to be stored under a seat will be permitted into the venue. Cricket or sporting bags longer than 30cm are not permitted. As an outdoor venue, we recommend dressing comfortably and appropriately for weather conditions. Note that there are no cloaking facilities. A boutique hotel is an innovation that will not only help offset the ongoing costs associated with operating and maintaining the stadium, but will also ensure Adelaide Oval stays at the forefront of innovation in what is an extremely competitive international event market.

Oval Hotel will be an important addition to South Australia’s $6.7 billion visitor economy, which is a critical driver of jobs and investment. The hotel will create 120 ongoing FTE roles.

Oval Hotel will be built and managed by the Adelaide Oval Stadium Management Authority. It will not be operated by an external provider, nor will it carry any large-scale external signage. A large number of Adelaide Oval staff members have extensive experience working in the four and five-star hotel and casino industry.

The design is being overseen by COX Architecture and project managed by Mott MacDonald, the same team responsible for the award-winning redevelopment of Adelaide Oval.

None of the stadium’s existing access/egress including the plaza and atrium entry are affected by the development. Planning is already underway to ensure the impact of construction on game day patrons arriving/leaving the stadium at the East Gate is kept at a minimum.

The hotel has been designed to fit as unobtrusively and seamlessly into the existing design as possible, retaining the magnificent views while not impacting the experience for game day patrons.

The 138-room boutique hotel will feature two wings that will integrate into the existing design on either side of the East Gate. They will be linked by an elevated foyer and lounge pod with views into the east atrium and out to the parklands and city skyline.

The design of the hotel has been extensively reviewed by the Office for Design and Architecture South Australia (ODASA) to ensure it complements the current outstanding Adelaide Oval design environment.

Bookings are now open and can be made here.
