COVID-19 Update

Adelaide Oval Functions & Events are currently booking and hosting functions following the easing of restrictions by the State and Federal Governments, operating under the guidance of SA Health.

Our absolute priority is the safety and well being of our patrons. We have implemented a number of increased safety measures including reduced sized groups, social distancing and increased hygiene practices in addition to our already strict operational procedures.

We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and we will continue to act in accordance with the advice of the Government and SA Health.

What has changed?

Adelaide Oval will become a double COVID-19 vaccination only venue as of 23 November 2021

Following the State Government release of the new Testing, Tracing, Isolation and Quarantining (TTIQ) model, the Board of the Stadium Management Authority has determined that Adelaide Oval will become a double COVID-19 vaccine only venue.

This decision, which comes into effect from Tuesday 23 November, applies to anyone aged 12 and over entering Adelaide Oval for any reason.

Proof of double vaccination will be required of all game and event day patrons, functions and events guests, visitors to the stadium, RoofClimb and Adelaide Oval Tours participants, suppliers and contractors. A double vaccination policy for all Adelaide Oval staff was introduced earlier this week.

People who are double vaccinated will be required to display their COVID 19 Digital Certificate via their smartphone prior to entry. Where this is not possible, a printed immunisation history statement will be accepted.

Those with an official medical exemption will need to show their certificate of exemption and provide a recent negative test result no older than 72 hours. Anyone found having entered the stadium without the necessary proof of vaccination status risks a three-year venue ban.

Social Distancing

To ensure adherence to the Government’s COVID-19 health and safety regulations, a one person per two square metre rule has been implemented. Please refer to our Updated Room Capacities table which highlights the capacities of each function room determined by its size.

Hygiene Measures

Hand sanitising stations are available at Entry and Exit points as well as stations situated around the stadium. We have increased the cleaning and disinfecting of all surface areas and frequented spaces. Hand washing facilities are also available.

Health

Patrons are asked to please stay home if you are not feeling well or have any symptoms. We are more than happy to reschedule your function, just call and let us know.
