MTX CLUB SEAT RETURN FAQ

What is MTX Club Seat Return?

Our new MTX Club Seat Return program provides members with the opportunity to return their seats for sale if they are unable to attend a match.

If you return your MTX Club seat and it is successfully sold to another MTX Club member, you will earn a Guest Pass for every two seats sold. Why not return and earn!

What do I earn for returning my MTX Club seat?

If our MTX Club team sells your seat, you will earn a Guest Pass for future use.

Please note your seat must be sold to earn a Guest Pass.

How many Guest Passes can I earn?

You will earn one Guest Pass for every two MTX Club seats that are sold by our team.

For example:

If you return two MTX Club seats and both seats are sold, you will earn one Guest Pass.
If you return four MTX Club seats and all four seats are sold, you will earn two Guest Passes. However, if only two seats are sold you will earn one Guest Pass.
If you return one MTX Club seat for one match, and another seat at a future match, this will accumulate to two returned seats, and you will earn one Guest Pass.

How do I return my MTX Club seat?

Seats can only be returned by completing the Seat Return form on your MTX Club member portal.

When can I return my MTX Club seat?

The Seat Return form on your MTX Club member portal must be completed by 5.00pm Adelaide time on the Wednesday prior to the next match.

You can return your MTX Club seat for any game listed in your MTX Club portal.

How will I know if my returned seat is sold for a match?

If your returned seat is sold, you will be contacted by a member of our MTX Club team.

I’ve returned my seat for a game; can I change my mind?

No. Once your seat has been returned for sale, whether it is sold or not, it cannot be re-instated. However, if you have changed your mind and want to attend a match, please contact your MTX Club Account Manager who may be able to provide you with an alternate solution.

Is there a maximum number of Guest Passes I can earn?

You can accrue up to a maximum of 10 Guest Passes in your current membership year. All unused Guest Passes will be deemed invalid on 14 March each year.

Please note, earned Guest Passes are only valid whilst your MTX Club membership is active.

When can I use a Guest Pass?

You can use Guest Passes for AFL minor round games, International Cricket Matches Days 3-5, BBL and WBBL matches at Adelaide Oval whilst your MTX Club membership is active (subject to availability).

In fact, you can use an earned Guest Pass for football or cricket matches (subject to availability), regardless of when your returned seat was sold.

For example:

If your seat for an AFL match is returned and sold, you can use your earned Guest Pass for cricket including Days 3-5 of a Test Match (subject to availability).

How do I use a Guest Pass?

If a Guest Pass is earnt throughout the AFL season, it must be used at an AFL game within 12 months (subject to availability), unless otherwise agreed.

If a Guest Pass is earnt throughout the Cricket season, it must be used at a BBL fixture, WBBL fixture or Day 3,4 or 5 of a Test Match within 12 months (subject to availability), unless otherwise agreed.

Will the Guest Pass be next to my MTX Club member seats?

The Guest Pass earned via our Seat Return program is not guaranteed to be next to your member seats. If our reserved seat Guest Pass allocations are exhausted, you will be provided with a general admission Guest Pass into the MTX Club for the given match.

When am I unable to use a Guest Pass?

Guest Passes cannot be used for AFL Showdowns, AFL Gather Round, AFL Finals Series, Day 1 and Day 2 of International Cricket Test Matches, and non-cricket and non-football major events such as international concert acts, and sporting events including World Cups and Olympics.

Does my Guest Pass expire?

If a Guest Pass is earnt, it is valid for 1 year whilst your MTX Club Membership is active (being until the end of your MTX Club Membership), unless otherwise agreed.

Does the MTX Club standard dress code apply to Guest Passes?

Yes. All guests and members aged over 12 seeking admission to the MTX Club must adhere to the standard dress code.

What happens if my returned seat is not sold?

Our MTX Club ordinarily has upward of 50 people on a waitlist for Guest Passes for each fixture, our team will do their absolute best to sell your returned seat. The returned seat can be sold as a reserved seat or general admission MTX Club Guest Pass.

However, there may be times our team is unable to sell your returned seat. If your seat is sold, you will receive confirmation from our MTX Club membership team.
