Adelaide Oval is celebrating multiple wins at the 2022 AHA SA Awards for Excellence, taking home trophies for both Functions & Events offering and Malt Shovel Taphouse.
The annual awards ceremony brings together the best in South Australia’s hospitality and hotel scene in celebration of the industry and those venues who have achieved excellence.
Adelaide Oval was named the state’s best Meeting & Events Venue – Accommodation & Specialist Division, while Malt Shovel Taphouse was recognised for its Draught Beer Quality for the second year running.
“Everything we do at Adelaide Oval, whether in the stadium, at an event or through one of our many outstanding hospitality venues, is underpinned by a shared commitment to creating memorable experiences,” Adelaide Oval General Manager Food & Beverage Matt Omond said.
“Both the Functions & Events division and Malt Shovel Taphouse continue to be awarded for their exemplary food, beverage, service and atmosphere and we’re immensely proud of both teams.”
Adelaide Oval Functions & Events has received multiple accolades over the past decade, most recently at the Restaurant & Catering Awards for Excellence where it was awarded 2022 Caterer of the Year and Function & Convention Centre Caterer of the Year.
“This award further cements Adelaide Oval as the state’s premier functions and events destination,” Adelaide Oval General Manager Sales & Partnerships Jo Thomson said.
