Adelaide Oval Liquor Licence
We are pleased to advise that Adelaide Oval’s application to vary its liquor licence has been approved today by the CBS Commissioner. Previously, our liquor licence prevented us from serving drinks in public areas in anything other than plastic cups – limiting what we could offer patrons and how.
In supporting our application, SAPOL noted the continued good behaviour of crowds at Adelaide Oval and the proposed penalties for any person who was not acting in a safe manner. Adelaide Oval continues to prioritise safety of all patrons, staff, players and SAPOL members.
We have now been granted a new licence that allows us to explore alternatives to plastic – thereby giving us the option of being able to serve drinks in cans.
We look forward to introducing these new products in time for the SANFL Finals Series later this year.
