Following Sunday’s incident and subsequent police action, the Adelaide Oval SMA has introduced a minimum 12-month ban for any patrons who run on to the field of play.
This ban is in addition to any SAPOL issued ban and/or fine and is independent of any other penalties imposed.
The 12-month ‘pitch invasion’ ban commences with immediate effect and has been applied in the case of the individual arrested during Sunday’s game.
No further comment will be made on this issue.
