The South Australian Tourism Awards took place on Friday, 4 November and Adelaide Oval was the big winner of the evening!
The awards, presented by the South Australian Tourism Industry Council, celebrate and acknowledge tourism businesses that have demonstrated extraordinary achievement and success throughout the year.
Adelaide Oval Tours & Museums took home the highest honour – the inaugural Premier’s Award for Service Excellence. This is a highly regarded acknowledgment (selected by three national judges) which recognises the finalist across 30 categories who demonstrated the most outstanding customer service experience.
Our Tours & Museums program also won the Cultural Tourism Award, recognising tourism operations that foster a greater understanding and appreciation of authentic culture, history and heritage. This is the second consecutive year Adelaide Oval Tours & Museums have received the Cultural Tourism Award.
Commonwealth Bank RoofClimb collected the New Tourism Business Award, recognising excellence in the planning and development of new tourism infrastructure and services.
These wins would not have been possible without the continued hard work and dedication demonstrated by our volunteer tour guides and RoofClimb leaders. It’s a credit to our mission to provide our customers with a world class experience every time they visit the Oval.
