Adelaide Oval reduces food and beverage prices
Adelaide Oval has today announced a reduction in pricing across a range of its best-selling food and beverage items including beer, pies, soft drink, hot chips and water.
The new pricing will take effect from Monday’s AFL game between the Adelaide Crows and St Kilda and will remain in place for this year’s summer of cricket and all next year’s football season.
The new pricing applies to the following food and beverage items:
Alongside these cheaper traditional fan favourites, patrons will still be able to choose from Adelaide Oval’s full range of food and beverage items including healthy options.
The following quotes can be attributed to Adelaide Oval CEO Andrew Daniels:
“Almost every South Australian family has faced economic pain as a result of the COVID-19 situation.
“We recognise that and are doing something about it by reducing the prices of our most popular items.
“By doing so, we are taking a financial hit. It means Adelaide Oval’s own economic recovery – and that of local football and cricket – will take longer after being completely shut down during the height of the crisis.
“But fans are absolutely central to that. We want them to come flooding back to the games and events they love and we think our new pricing will make it easier for them to do so.
“We also recognise the important role Adelaide Oval plays in the vibrancy of the city and we want to do our bit in helping South Australia’s ongoing recovery.”
