Fresh from announcing its plans to establish its Asia-Pacific headquarters in Australia and selecting Adelaide as its first service hub location, global technology company MTX Group has underscored its long-term commitment to South Australia by becoming the new naming rights sponsor of the MTX Club at Adelaide Oval.

The partnership brings together shared core values and the close-knit cultures of the two organisations, emphasising an unwavering commitment to excellence and taking care of one another.

MTX has signed a five-year agreement with Adelaide Oval, and will unveil the new look MTX Club at Saturday’s blockbuster Showdown 49.

MTX Chairman and Founder Das Nobel said:

“Through sports and other events, the Adelaide Oval brings the community together to enjoy and celebrate. A strong sense of culture and camaraderie is at the heart of MTX.”

“This commitment is a step toward furthering MTX’s mission of advancing society with education, technology, and better quality of life while partnering with local government and businesses.”

“Our sponsorship is the perfect opportunity to drive awareness and trust in the MTX brand as we continue to nurture our relationships on a global level.”

MTX Australia CEO Ben Papps added:

“We are dedicated to Adelaide and South Australia and wanted to demonstrate that in a meaningful way. MTX looks forward to connecting with businesses in a local setting, and Adelaide Oval provided a great fit for us.”

“We can’t wait to welcome everyone to the MTX Club and to the opportunities it will present.”

The club set new standards when it was launched in 2014 and has gone from strength to strength, offering up to 1400 members multiple dining and event options and becoming the State’s leading business networking environment.

Membership of the MTX Club provides tickets to all events (apart from AFL finals and international sporting events), exclusive event day access to all club facilities and a rage of reciprocal rights, networking events and other discounts.

In September 2020, the club was reborn as part of the development of the Oval Hotel and now features the elegant Five Regions Restaurant, Bespoke Wine Bar & Kitchen and the Artisan Burger Bar as well as the John Halbert Bistro.

Adelaide Oval SMA CEO Andrew Daniels said:

“Over the past seven years, we have built what we believe is the largest corporate member base in South Australia with representation across a wide range of industries.

“Everything we have done over that time has been focused on delivering the best environment at the best value for business in South Australia.

“We’re continuing to see strong take-up in membership which tells us that South Australian business is ready to get out and get networking as the State builds from the effects of the pandemic.

“We are delighted to welcome MTX Group as the new naming rights partner and believe it will be a relationship that delivers mutual benefits for them, for SA businesses and for Adelaide Oval.”
