First guests set to enjoy Adelaide’s newest accommodation experience as Oval Hotel opens its doors

Adelaide’s most anticipated new hotel has officially opened its doors today, with the first guests checking in at Oval Hotel.

The premium boutique hotel at Adelaide Oval has been just 15 months in the making. Today, guests will explore for the first time its 138 perfectly appointed rooms, stunning reception lounge and two new restaurants.

Oval Hotel CEO Andrew Daniels said the hotel was already proving an asset to South Australia.

“Since day one, Oval Hotel has generated considerable interest from international and interstate visitors who are looking for a one-of-a-kind accommodation experience,” he said.

“As borders continue to re-open, we are excited to welcome visitors to this destination hotel, which we believe showcases the very best of our state.

“We have also been overwhelmed by the support we have received from South Australians and look forward to welcoming hundreds of guests over our fully booked opening weekend.”

Oval Hotel Rooms Division Manager Mieke Sellers said the hotel was full of South Australian touches, from the menus of new dining spaces Five Regions Restaurant and Bespoke Wine Bar & Kitchen, to the artwork on the walls and the amenities in the ensuites.

“The Oval Hotel guest experience is quintessentially South Australian,” she said.

“We have used South Australian producers, artists and suppliers wherever possible, establishing Oval Hotel as a true gateway for guests to our great state.

“Oval Hotel is both a destination in itself, and a perfectly positioned starting point for further exploration of South Australia.”

All Oval Hotel guest rooms feature:
