The Adelaide Oval Stadium Management Authority is pleased to advise that the Hon. Rob Kerin has today been appointed as its new Chair.
Mr Kerin was formally appointed to a four-year term at today’s Board meeting.
A former Premier of South Australia and the current Chair of the South Australian Football Commission, Mr Kerin succeeds Rear Admiral Kevin Scarce AC who has been Chair since 2018.
Mr Scarce’s term as Chair has concluded in accordance with the governance structure between SACA and SANFL which provides for nominations for the position of Chair to alternate between terms.
“Kevin has been an outstanding Chair during a very demanding time for our organisation,” Mr Kerin said.
“He oversaw the completion and launch of the hugely successful Oval Hotel venture and his leadership has been fundamental to our navigation of the challenges posed by the global pandemic,” he said.
“I am honoured to be nominated to the position of Chair and I look forward to building on our achievements and to continuing to deliver a world-class product for South Australia.”
SACA President Andrew Sinclair continues in the role as Deputy Chair while Kevin Scarce will remain a Director.
