Adelaide Oval has unveiled its kiosk menu ahead of the 2025 AFL season, including a new initiative which will see the stadium offer local Vili’s pastries, juices and flavoured milks for less.
South Australian owned and operated, Vili’s is a new name in the stadium kiosk offering, with all pies and pastries at the venue set to switch to Vili’s as of the start of the AFL season.
As part of the new ‘SA Brands for SA Fans’ initiative, a selection of local kiosk items has been dropped to just $5 each:
- Vili’s pies, pasties and sausage rolls, down from $6.10 to $5
- Nippy’s flavoured juices down from $6.90 to $5
- Fleurieu Milk Company flavoured milks down from $6.90 to $5.
Adelaide Oval will also retain its crown for the cheapest pint of full-strength beer of any tier one stadium in the country, with West End pints now at $10.90.
“Our approach to game day food and beverage is to make sure we’re serving up the absolute best range and quality possible at the best price possible,” Adelaide Oval CEO Nick Addison said.
“South Australians are discerning when it comes to food and beverage, and so Adelaide Oval is too – we constantly review our kiosk and bar offering to ensure we’re stocking fan favourite lines, using top quality ingredients and choosing local wherever we can.
“This year we considered the family-friendly nature of Adelaide Oval’s AFL fixture and came up with a $5 deal that we know families will love. ‘SA Brands for SA Fans’ allows us to support local while also offering some of our most popular products for less.”
Driven by Adelaide Oval, SA Brands for SA Fans aims to push local products at a price point that’s easily affordable for families, while ensuring the brands involved maintain their margins.
Vili’s National Sales Manager Ben McDonnell hopes the initiative will encourage even more footy fans to choose local.
“We’re so proud to be bringing our premium products to Adelaide Oval – another iconic local brand that shares our commitment to this state and to top-quality food,” Ben said.
“It’s great to see the Oval continue to push South Australian brands and find new ways to ensure that local products are flying off the kiosk shelves.
“Every product stocked at Adelaide Oval will be made fresh to order, so footy fans are getting the absolute best quality pies and pastries that South Australia has to offer – at an almost unheard-of price.”
Alongside kiosk outlets, corporate and function areas, Vili’s will serve its pastries at a dedicated ‘Oval Pie Shop’ outlet in the Eastern Stand. It joins a number of new specialty outlets across the stadium, with some traditional kiosks converted to a dedicated gourmet pizza, burgers or fresh food eatery alongside branded bars.
New outlet ‘Our Fresh Play’ will serve Sushi Hiro rolls alongside a range of salads and paninis which have both dropped in price – salads from $15.50 to $12.90, and paninis from $14.50 to $13.50.
Also new for the 2025 season is the stadium’s range of pre-mixed alcoholic beverages, with local South Ave seltzers and 23rd Street Distillery gins, fan favourite Hard Rated and premium Brookvale Union ginger beers among the new canned options now lining bar fridges.
“Going to the footy with your family or mates is a great day out – sharing great food and a round of drinks is a big part of that,” Nick said.
“I commend our chefs and our retail team for continually raising the bar while also celebrating the fan favourites that we all know and love.”
