Adelaide Test Locked In
The South Australian Cricket Association (SACA) and Cricket Australia have struck a thrilling long-term deal that guarantees Adelaide Oval will be the exclusive venue for the final Test match before Christmas from 2025 through to the 2030/31 summer. This landmark agreement also includes the eagerly awaited Ashes series in the 2025/26 season.
For the first time, cricket fans can look forward to unrivaled certainty in the annual calendar, with Adelaide Oval set to host the last Test before Christmas each year. The next seven years will showcase a dynamic mix of day and day/night fixtures, adding extra excitement to the summer. The seven-year deal will also see a mix of men’s and women’s international limited overs each year along with the Adelaide Strikers marquee New Year’s Eve match at Adelaide Oval.
In celebration of this major announcement, SACA is investing in an array of fantastic upgrades to Adelaide Oval’s members’ facilities. Enhancements include an expanded Village Green, the return of the popular Fashions on the Green, new exclusive member areas in the Riverbank Stand, and upgraded food and beverage options to elevate the matchday experience.
