We were delighted to recently receive this letter from South Australian Premier the Hon Steven Marshall MP as thanks for the donation to the SA Bushfire Appeal – a donation made possible by the generosity of many thousands of South Australians who supported the Bushfire T20 Showdown hosted at Adelaide Oval in February.
It was a memorable game of cricket for many reasons but mostly because it was an occasion where the strength of our community spirit was on display at its absolute best. Together we raised $1,055,463 for the SA Bushfire Appeal – a phenomenal result for a very worthy cause.
Thank you to all those who came to the game, made a donation or supported the event in some way. This letter of thanks reflects the contribution from each and every one of you and we are incredibly grateful for your important part in making the event such a success.
