Adelaide Oval SMA Ltd is made up of eight directors, with four appointed by the South Australian Cricket Association (SACA) and four appointed by the South Australian Football Commission (SANFL).
The Hon. Rob Kerin
Chairman
Adelaide Oval Stadium Management Authority is Chaired by the former Premier of South Australia, The Hon Rob Kerin. He is also a member and chair of numerous boards in South Australia and nationally.
Rob was a Community Football League Director from 2014-2020 and has been the Chair of the South Australian Football Commission since his appointment in 2020.
Andrew Sinclair
Deputy Chairman
Andrew Sinclair is the Deputy Chair of Adelaide Oval SMA Ltd. He has over 30 years of experience as a commercial lawyer and chartered accountant.
Andrew was appointed to the South Australian Cricket Association (SACA) Board in 2009 and retired from his role as President and Chair in 2022. In 2023, Andrew was bestowed SACA Honorary Life Membership for his 13 years of service to SACA and the wider game of cricket.
Janet Finlay
Non-Executive Director
An experienced non-executive director and chartered accountant, Janet Finlay was appointed to the Adelaide Oval SMA board in 2021. Janet is the current Chair of Helping Hand Aged Care Inc and Deputy Chancellor of the Adelaide University, the new university created by the merger of University of Adelaide and University of South Australia.
Janet was appointed member of the South Australian Football Commission in 2020 and was re-elected to this position for a further three-year term in March 2024.
Peter Hurley AO
Non-Executive Director
Peter Hurley AO has had a long and illustrious career as a South Australian hotelier.
He was a member of the Australian Hotels Association (SA) for 39 years, including State President for 24 years until his retirement in 2018. In 2023, Peter became the first South Australian to receive the national Australian Hotels Association’s highest honour, the Peter Burnett Medal. He is a Life Member of AHA|SA and AHA National body.
Peter is a former board member of the Adelaide Football Club and was appointed to the Adelaide Oval SMA board in 2015 by the South Australian Football Commission. He is a Life Member of the Adelaide Football Club.
Caroline Rhodes
Non-Executive Director
Caroline Rhodes brings more than twenty years of professional experience in government relations, strategic communications, and membership organisations. She currently serves as the CEO of Primary Producers SA.
An experienced company director, Caroline holds positions on the Boards of Rural Business Support, the Australian Farm Institute, and Foodbank SA/NT. She holds a Master of Agribusiness and a Bachelor of Agricultural Science.
Caroline was appointed to the South Australian Cricket Association Board in 2016 and has been a member of the Adelaide Oval SMA Board since 2022.
Nicole Haack
Non-Executive Director
With more than 25 years of experience working across strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, government relations and media, Nicole is regarded as one of the state’s leading communications advisers, providing counsel to a broad cross-section of private and public clients.
Nicole is also a Director of the Adelaide Central Market Authority and has held leadership positions on numerous boards, including Chair of both Variety Australia and Variety South Australia, and Director of Raising Literacy Australia and the Cora Barclay Centre.
Nicole was appointed member of the South Australian Football Commission in 2020 and is the current Deputy Chair of the Commission.
William Rayner
Non-Executive Director
Will Rayner has held various executive roles in finance, agriculture, and corporate affairs. He is the current Chief Executive of the Royal Agricultural and Horticultural Society of SA (RA&HS).
Will was appointed to the South Australian Cricket Association Board in 2019 and was elected President and Chair of SACA in September 2022. He has been a member of the Adelaide Oval SMA board since 2021.
Rodney Phillips
Non-Executive Director
Rod Phillips is a highly regarded South Australian cricket identity and has been a SACA member for almost 40 years. In his professional life, Rod performed various senior management roles in the energy sector. He has served on several boards and is currently Chair of Golf SA.
Rod was a member of the South Australian Cricket Association board from 2013 to 2023 and has been a member of the Adelaide Oval SMA board since 2018.
