Adelaide Oval is gearing up for an action-packed Summer of Cricket in 2023/24.

With a stellar line up of matches from the always exciting Big Bash League to massive international fixtures. Let’s take a closer look at the exciting lineup of matches that await Adelaide Oval this summer.

November 2023 

The inaugural WBBL Stadium Series kicks off on November 24 with a double-header featuring reigning champions (and hometown heroes) Adelaide Strikers against Perth Scorchers, preceded by Brisbane Heat’s meeting with Sydney Thunder.

The Strikers have a stellar record here, last playing in the WBBL|07 Finals series securing back-to-back dominant victories against Brisbane Heat.

Can’t wait to have the champs back at Adelaide Oval under lights for Friday night cricket!

December 2023 to January 2024

Kicking off the Summer of Cricket at Adelaide Oval is the highly anticipated clash between the Adelaide Strikers and the Brisbane Heat on Saturday, 9 December. The Strikers will then take on the Sydney Thunder, Melbourne Stars – for a showstopping New Years Eve match, Perth Scorchers, and Hobart Hurricanes in front of home crowds, in a series of exhilarating matches throughout the season.

Women’s CommBank ODI Australia v South Africa

WNCL cricket will make its Adelaide Oval return in January in the form of a huge day/night clash between SA and Vic on 29 January 2024 – the Scorpions will take to the surface for the first time since the stadiums redevelopment! After a strong end to their 2022/23 season the Redbacks are looking to continue that momentum into the 2023/24 summer…
