We are pleased to report that the climber who experienced a medical episode yesterday on the RoofClimb Riverbank Stand platform is recovering well in hospital.
When the man became unwell, our emergency procedures were immediately implemented with emergency services called in to assist with safely bringing the climber back to the ground.
Safety is our number one priority and all RoofClimb Leaders undergo extensive training, including working with SES staff to handle emergency situations.
We commend our staff who acted quickly and decisively yesterday and we’d like to take this opportunity to thank all those involved in the rescue effort.
